Run, Walk, Roll Photos!

Governors State University

The “Run, Walk, Roll for Rehab” 5K Run and Walk was held Saturday, April 8th on the campus of Governors State University. The event is sponsored each year by the Physical Therapy Student Association with the proceeds benefitting the BIA of Illinois. The BIA of Illinois is grateful for the support of the students and staff, and all the participants who came out and joined us.

Join the BIA of Illinois at the 2017 DuPage Human Race

Saturday, May 6, 2017      9am – 11am
The Esplanade at Locust Point
1901 W. Butterfield Road, Downers Grove

 Register today for the 6th Annual DuPage Human Race! The Human Race® is a community event & fundraiser that benefits over 70 non-profit organizations serving DuPage County – and the Brain Injury Association of Illinois is one of the non-profit organizations participating!

 When you sign up and indicate the Brain Injury Association of Illinois is your charity of choice, half of your registration fee is directed to the BIA, and the contribution/sponsorship you make are given to the BIA. You can also go online and designate your contribution be given to the Brain Injury Association of Illinois. You can also sign up for your own fundraising page for the BIA of IL team.

 This is a USATF sanctioned course at the Esplanade at Locust Point. There will be 2 course routes - both the 5K Run and 2-mile Fitness Walk will begin at 1901 Butterfield Road in Downers Grove.

The 5K Run will wind through the complex; and the 2-mile Fitness Walk will be an out & back course. The Fitness Walk route will be open to strollers, wheelchairs and leashed dogs. Kids ages 13 and under are free, but they do need to register.
